Japanese class

The reason I'm studying Japanese:

Born in Korea and having been raised there, I have always been interested in the culture and language of the neighboring country, Japan. Two countries have held a long-standing, intimate relationship in terms of sharing culture/heritage, and I thought studying about Japan was crucial in learning about my own country’s history and culture. I chose to learn the language first to get a better sense of Japananese culture because I would really like to (someday) be able to communicate with the native Japanese, visit Japan and gain first-hand experience there.
